I photographed the Arundel Castle International Jousting Tournament in West Sussex on assignment for FT Weekend. Spending the day at the event — often described as the “Wimbledon of jousting” — I produced a series of images to accompany a feature by Simon Usborne exploring the resurgence of jousting and the growing popularity of historical re-enactment in Britain.
