Fantasmi nei Campi / Ghosts in the Field is the original exhibition poster produced for Murray Ballard’s exhibition at Palazzo Rizzo, Cocumola, Italy, for Aperto all’Arte – Edizione 3 in 2025.
The exhibition presented photographs from Ghosts in the Field, Ballard’s ongoing body of work exploring the transformation of Salento following the spread of Xylella fastidiosa — the bacterium responsible for the destruction of millions of olive trees. Combining landscapes, portraits and still lifes, the photographs examine themes of environmental change, memory, tradition and resilience.
Printed at A1 size on high-quality matt paper and signed by the artist on the reverse.
