Commissioned by Forests Without Frontiers, Wings Over Mountains is a multimedia conservation project exploring the relationship between music, culture and nature in Bulgaria's Eastern Rhodope Mountains.

My role was to document the artist residency through film and photography, following musicians Nico de Transilvania and Ivan Shopov as they collaborated with local choirs, storytellers and conservationists. Set against the dramatic landscapes of the Eastern Rhodopes, the residency explored how creative practice can foster a deeper connection with the region's cultural heritage and remarkable biodiversity.

The resulting photographs and film document a unique collaboration between artists, local communities and conservation organisations, celebrating both the richness of the landscape and the people working to protect it.
